We had our first MW Meeting on 25th January night, at Ah Ho’s place. Tis the first meeting since the change of guard for the MW. The attendance was really encouraging. We had 26 ladies who showed up; 3 of whom were friends. A good start. The meeting started off with a short time of singspiration led by Julie, followed by a short time for sharing. Michelle gave thanks that God has always seen to her needs where food is concerned.
Then it was time to get down to business. Ah …

This year’s annual MW Thanksgiving Dinner was held on 9 November 2009 at Crystal Phoenix Restaurant . The four tables reserved were filled by 7.30 pm, except for 3 or 4 empty seats, and Pastor Lee Peng Chiat was seated in the midst of his female flock.
The evening kicked off at 7.40 pm with MC, Ong Gaik Yeok, leading the ladies in praise and worship, backed by a ‘full orchestra’. We sounded good!

Ladies Saturday Craft Session..
The ladies of the church had another one of craft meetings. This was in the morning. There were 7 of us, some diehard ‘crafters’.

Tis another session to see how each one is progressing with their masterpieces.. ..this is one which is still in progress. Most are making for their cucu…. but they are many who don’t mind getting them as gifts also… Ha! Ha! See, we aren’t that different from our grandmothers… the passing of batons… grandma(s), ma(s) used to make these …

Tea, Craft and Sembang-Sembang
First week of the school hols…so Sugar & Spice and Everything Nice organised a get-together at her place. This was Sunday… The purpose??? Patch work, quilt …… and whatever else ladies do when they get together….. LOL!
