Moving Day finally came for the Church Office. As of tomorrow, the office will be Ampang Place. The Parsonage will be empty save for the BK classes which will continue to run there till the end of this academic year.
Turnout was good… almost 30 people I think. For some of the men, it was hard work.. the heaving and pushing, carrying and and lifting; and oh ya! Cooking also! Moving also included cooking cos Ah Ho and Howard, our property ‘boss’ felt that the energy spent should be compensated… it …

Tonight we had the launch for the NECF 40 Days Prayer. It’s an initiative involving 3 churches here. Apart from the pastors from Baptist and FGC, the Tamil Methodist Church Pastor came too. Two volunteers from NECF came and shared their objective and vision with the church. They brought with them the ‘ NECF 40 Days Fast and Prayer Booklet‘. They also showed 2 video clips; one on ‘Love Your Neighbour” and the other, the plight of the flood victims in East Malaysia. We are encouraged to contribute what is …

We moved to our new premise in Sept 2008. It has freed us from the constraint of space and time. And in tandem with our vision and mission of the church, the church has decided to set new goals. These are the targets for 2008 – 2012.

300 average attendance. At present the attendance is around 130.
That we will have 200 committed members.
100 trained disciples/leaders
50 earnest intercessors
20 Care Groups. (We have 9 now)
20 missionary (organizations) supported
10 ongoing projects
5 called to full time ministry
5 full time staff
3 worship services (English, charismatic, …

I.B.I.G. @ WMC

I.B.I.G Band…. I Believe In God. It’s a Christian band from Korea and they came a-visiting to WMC on Monday night. Opportunities like come rarely. And it was a treat to be able to share the night with them.

Up Penang Hill…
This was yesterday.. we took our Church Community Tuition Outreach Programme students and MYF’ers up Penang Hill. There were around 40 of us… youths and adults. Other Half, Son and I went. Your truly ended up the sweeper… Sweeper punya kerja – sweep everyone up! Make sure nobody sesat or strays. Last 2 hikers made it up in 3 hours.
