Community Tuition : Teknik Menjawab SPM

17 October 2009 2 Comments

A Teknik Menjawab session was organized for those taking their SPM Physics and Chemistry at WMCAS. I was there early and a group of us, together with Uncle Ti Pheng and my parents went over to a nearby coffee shop for our breakfast.

It started at 8.30 a.m. There were quite a number of students from different schools who attended. I think there were students from Keat Hwa I, Keat Hwa II, Convent, Asma, St. Michael, Kolej Sultan Abdul Hamid and Sekolah Teknik Lebuhraya.  Anyway, I think there were about 40 to 50 of us there. There was a small fee of RM2 per subject to cover the cost of printed materials.

This “Teknik Menjawab” was divided into two sections, Chemistry and Physics. Chemistry was conducted by Uncle Ti Pheng and Physics was done by Uncle Koay. I think both teachers explained those important little details that we, students missed out in our revisions. For me, I gained some new information and it will help me  score a few more marks in my papers.

This was right before we started….

Lesson was conducted in the Main Hall upstairs

In the middle of Uncle Ti Pheng’s session, Pastor came and prayed for those of us who were taking our SPM, and some Bibles were given out to those who attended the Community Tuition throughout the year.

Then Uncle Koay took over for the second session. We ended at 12.00 noon. I think many of us benefited one way or the other from these sessions. And I want to thank them for their labour of love.

These students are certainly blessed to have two such dedicated teachers to teach and guide them. May the Lord bless them abundantly for their love and sacrifice for the community… and to you anxious young people :-) , may He who is PEACE grant you that peace that surpasses all understanding and bless you with good results in your SPM.
