The Church Office Has Moved…

20 July 2009 One Comment

Moving Day finally came for the Church Office. As of tomorrow, the office will be Ampang Place. The Parsonage will be empty save for the BK classes which will continue to run there till the end of this academic year.

Turnout was good… almost 30 people I think. For some of the men, it was hard work.. the heaving and pushing, carrying and and lifting; and oh ya! Cooking also! Moving also included cooking cos Ah Ho and Howard, our property ‘boss’ felt that the energy spent should be compensated… it is indeed good to see everyone pitching in to help.

Well, things are still in a mess at the Office. Pastor and another member went back again in the evening, to make sure the network works… so it was a long day for him. Pastor had actually looked into the wiring in detail during the installation stage. More organizing will be required in the coming days… but hey! The Office has moved! The following is a video of what took place… the army of ‘ants’ we become, children also contributed… God is good!

I would like to take this opportunity for thanking all the uncles and aunties who have helped to shift all the equipement from the parsoange to the new church office. I am very grateful for their help. Now still not used to the security system of the new office but I thank God that in the new office at least I have my own space aand not ‘open-air’ and now I can look at the person coming to the office. Back at those days in the parsonage, I cannot see the person at all only answer the door at the door bell only. Still there is a lot of work to be done in the office itself. I will need to take time to adjust to the security system in the new office.
